Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." Receiving the attunement:
Before you receive the attunement please do grounding as mentioned at the end of this message.
After u have completed grounding, Mentally say once: “I will now receive Usui Reiki 1 from Dheeraj with all perfection and for my highest good”. This will start the attunement and it will last for 12 –15 minutes. Once the attunement procedure is done, it is highly recommended that you keep your position another 10 – 15 minutes (or more if you like). This will give the increased flow of the energy a chance to more rapidly become distributed and absorbed into your energy system.
Or, you can receive attunement the way you like or in a position you feel comfortable with.
After attunement increase water intake to detox. Also spend time in self-healing and meditation, spend some time praying, going out in nature. If possible, take bath after receiving the attunement.
It is recommended, after attunement, that you do self healing or healing on a family member or a friend for 21 days. when you give healing to someone it has the same healing effect on you (as it would when you do self healing). You may feel some sensations (tingling, crawling, heat, cold, see some colours, God, deity or anything) or nothing at all during attunement (the energy balances itself according to your needs). Once you have intended to receive the attunement, it will come to you for your highest good and will be received in the best possible way at that given moment.
Grounding:
Picture small roots growing out of the bottom of your feet down, down, down to the core of the Earth. Imagine that there is a large quartz crystal at the core that your roots connect to. Next visualize a small spot on the top of your head (your crown chakara) opening up and fibers emerging reaching up and up similar to the roots you visualized coming from your feet. Visualize them growing up and up and connecting to the heaven’s, central sun, moon, a planet, etc. Sit for a few moments and breath in energy from both below and above and visualize that energy entering your body. In doing this you are both centering and grounding yourself. Do this every morning and anytime you feel insecure, emotional, and always before meditation or any spiritual or healing work.
Basic Protection:
Simply affirm “I surround myself in Christ White Light of love and protection” as you visualize yourself being surrounded by a bubble of bright white light. Do this every morning and anytime you feel anxious or fearful. Also before going to bed. It is all in the intention so feel free to state what can’t pass through your bubble of protection. In the beginning you may feel the protection is not working or not having much affect. The more you practice protection the stronger it becomes as you build up your energy and visualization skills.

Dear Dheeraj my love and gratitude to you and your lovely messages. I re-attuned as you suggested to be ready for Usui Reiki II soon. I had the tingling sensation in my hands and energy surge in my arms. Then my throat was very dry and I starting sweating... I then had a tingling sensation in my legs and the most amazing was I started crying.... it was so emotional. How can I thankyou

Linda, since you are already a level 1 for a while, I have decided that I will send you the level 2 attunement. And I will be sending it today in the afternoon (my time). The procedure to receive the attunement remains the same, the only difference being this time you will need to say, "I will now receive reiki level 2 attunement from Dheeraj".
I will let you know after I have sent you the attunement.

I do experienced some feelings during attunement last mid night and specially still have some feeling in my leg.
Heat sensation may be slightly new for me and it need more water intake naturally.
I am trying to practice healing for me and my wife.
I would like to maintain the cleansing period for a while.
I like hear more tips from you.

Thankyou Dheeraj,
I prepared myself and did a basic protection. My friends did someReiki on me yesterday as we were pratcising Reiki and Arolo which is a bit more complicated and they did a chakra cleaning as well so I was more prepared. I laid down this afternoon, lit some incense, relaxed profoundly and called the Reiki II attunement. I had the same sensation a tingling feeling in my hands and this time in my legs but this maybe because my legs are a bit bad and maybe with this attuning you sent healing as well. My mouth was very dry and after I drank nearly a litre of water as well as tea which I find very refreshing. I thought I would stay laid down for a while and I fell asleep again. How relaxing your attunements are. Thankyou once again dear Dheeraj.

Now that you are attuned to Reiki,you have the energy flowing from you.....so everyday,even twice a day,just hold ur hands to all ur energy centers...the chakras...u may either place ur hands on the chakras or hold ur hand say two/three inches from urself and intend the Reiki energy to flow through you,into ur chakras...u are actually now requesting Almighty,and His guardian angels/guiding angels to let Reiki energy flow through you....energise each chakra for about 2/3 mins....and be prayerful through the process...
Reiki heals all the chakras and in the process all our negativity too....You may find yourself getting impatient,irritated,depressed in the beginning.....this is normal....'coz the new, pure energy edges out the old toxins,that were giving a 'false' sense of 'well being' all these years....
Just be consistent and persistent Nikhil......thats all....and read the notes that Dheeraj has sent you....
Do please increase intake of water...this is to hasten and enhance the purification.....infact u may naturally feel more thirsty too..
