In the meantime,please, request you to drink extra water to detox.Meditate and if possible go out in the open for a couple of long walks.

just a question, what will i do upon receiving the attunement? i mean, i must be in a meditative state or i can still go on with my life even though you are sending me the attunement?

To receive this Attunement :
You are please adviced to sit in a chair, or lie down on your back, with limbs (arm/hands/legs/feet) not overlapping and say " With utmost gratitude to Almighty God, I am now going to receive Usui Reiki level 1 Attunement from Karthika Nair"
Or receive in the way you are guided to.
Allow the energy to flow for 10 to 15 minutes...or longer, if it continues to throb.Even if you do not feel anything,please know that you are receiving.
Please take some time to continue to rest awhile longer, so that the energy can work deeply.
The next twenty one days are very important so please be very meditative and drink plenty of water and other fluids to detox.
Please eat lightly, get plenty of rest, make quiet time for yourself each day.
Please be cautioned :
and be prepared for your body to cycle through changes as it clears with the new energy. Some feel a kind of 'unwellness', so to be gentle with yourself.
Please try to avoid as much noise and stress as possible. Spend time in Nature and in walking, or movement of some type to help the body settle in the change.
Sit in daily meditation with the Reiki energy asking to learn, and also do some study to learn more.
Please give your feed back after you receive the attunement,after which,the lineage and manual will be mailed to you.

i have received the usui reiki level 1 attunement.. upon receiving this, i really don't know.. after i have said the confirmation, my eyes begun to cry.. and i really don't know why.. i feel very lighter than before.. and after meditation, my head begun to ache but just for a little while.. i really don't know what to say.. thanks a lot!!
about the manual and the lineage? what is it? thanks again.. love lots.. blessed be..

My dearest Arjay, 
The energy is intense and overwhelming because of its loving content........thats why you started to cry and it entered you from the crown chakra,thats why the brief headache.........
You are now attuned to Usui Reiki 1 and have it flowing through you,so be sure to do self healing....keep your palms on your chakras,one by one and will the energy to flow through you...drink plenty of water........and follow the adviced instructions given above,for your highest good....
