Many thanks for both of the attunements and all the reading material and lineage you e-mail me.
I did call and received Reiki-I last Saturday night almost Sunday the 30th of May. I did more or less what was suggested, I put some candles, burned some incense, put a relaxing CD I know last about 45mins, sat down with hands facing upwards try to relax and when I felt ready I called the energy and stayed there until the music ended.
At first the energy was a bit 'difficult to swallow', it was spooned downed down like medicine to a child, every time getting stuck in every chakra for a bit until it got to the solar-plexus and then ‘digested’.
I noticed that part of me was making a bit of resistance, thinking; “Nan-do, all of this reiki thing is a bit weird… and you are not weird, you are normal…”
Next morning I awake very light and vibrant. I decided to call my mother. We talk for a while and when she asked me if I was doing anything interesting lately… I asked her if she had ever heard about reiki, She answer; “Of course, I did Reiki-I about ten years ago, remember I told you to do it…?”
Well… like I listen to my mum… =S ... But anyway, if my mum has done it… it may not be that weird after all…? That thought make me feel a bit lighter and a bean of “filtered happiness” (?) got very easily and direct from top of the head to the heart.
We finished our conversation and the last thing she said was:
“By the way, congratulations, happy Saint day!!!”
For the non-catholic, when you are born, you are supposed to be assigned a saint that protects you. The Saint will be the one that matches your name, and every saint has a special day of the year, almost like a saint-birthday. Well last Sunday seem to have been San Fernando.
I am not religious but it seems to be a very interesting “coincidence” =D

Hi Nan-do,
I had to laugh as I read your feedback.
I told you we all feel silly at times... Often wonder 'did I imagine that' That's normal for many people.
It is so difficult to turn off the mind from thinking all these thoughts... That's why I replace them by purposely thinking a positive thought... a sentence that I repeat over and over in my mind so the other thoughts have to wait till later.
That's where we have to learn to just trust.
So Mom does Reiki... 
Looks like you listen the same way my children listen... every other sentence... lol
Maybe you can share the site with her and she can move to Level 2.
Have fun working with Reiki...
Don't worry about feeling weird... I felt that way for a long time in the beginning. I was scared that people would think I was crazy... (Some do... Just for today... Don't worry...they are not open or spiritually evolved enough.)
Start with your friends (women may be more open, depends on your friends, some male friends may make fun at first) or go to a home for the elderly or a hospital for the terminally ill...
Activate Reiki and touch someones arm as you are speaking with them mentally offering it to their higher conscious and see if you notice a change in the way they act... they become relaxed... look at you strangely because the felt something and don't understand... Telepathy is very useful when you feel nervous.
Have fun, I look forward to reading how you are doing and what your level 2 attunement is like now that you are more relaxed.

Enjoyed reading your feedback! It reminded me of when my house was filled with little ones in various stages of feeding, and all looking at me in anticipation of the next spoon bite, or served a little more on their plates, and talking with all of them,(who had the habit of waking up right at daybreak and finding their way to grandma). Sleeping nicely, when I asked (hopefully), "Where are your moms and dads?" ......."Sleeping. We're hungry!" 12 of those little people all there at the same time; but, actually, enjoyed each and every one of them, even while prying my eyes open, and catching bodies, from all around me, and scooting them to where breakfast making was the entertainment of the day. And then, of course, eating!They had helped the crib toddlers climb out! The littler babies would simply cry, or call until we went to get them too. Bless the newborns! They still knew how to sleep!
So......am laughing heartily!!!! I pray that Spirit was working with your own feelings of not being sure about Reiki, rather than my 'over mothering'. Asked them to send you the Reiki gently and beautifully in whatever way was for your Highest Good. Perhaps they used the spoon feeding to give you in later laughter the thought of calling your Mom. That opens the doors perhaps for her too, if you share the second Level materials with her ( and the first, if she'd like a bit of a review) Anyway, blessings as you play with the energy and enjoy, practice, and move to the next Attunement as you are ready to open it.

I am happy to know that my Angel seems to have some sense of practical humour…, although it seems to be almost as bad as mine!!! =D
