Hi abhishek,

Am glad to hear that you have just been attuned to Reiki level 1 about 3 months ago. Instead of getting re-attuned to level 1, would you like to be attuned to Usui Level 2? To refine the energy, the best way is to practice using the energy daily. As you grow more accustomed to the energy, you will have a better sense and flow of energy!

There are different methods employed in attunement. The method Usui Sensei used is commonly known as the reiju method. The method that is commonly know today is Usui Shiki Ryoho (Western lineage of Takata). The more traditional method of Usui style is known as Usui Reiki Ryoho (Traditional style). I guess Takata had to adapt Reiki differently to the Western culture, as i believe at the time that Takata introduced Reiki, Eastern culture and philosophies was not very popular in the west as it is now.

The traditional method Usui employed required lots of meditation and training in order to move from 1 level to the next level. It may take up to 2 years of training before you can reach level 3. That is to refine and made sure that the students understand what they are doing before they move on.

However, in today's fast food culture, we may not have that luxury of time!! Or maybe we do Takata formulated a way that can be reproduced by her 22 students (they were suppose to maintain the same systems), however, every one is an individual. They started to explore more, hence, the many modalities.

Even within the Traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho system, there are differences between Masters. Each having their own styles and methods. We cannot say one is better than the other!

Usui was the pioneer of the system, i believe his first students were test subjects for him to improve and better the method of passing on the energy! He may have given them weekly reiju to increase their sensitivity to energy usage! By the time it reached Mrs. Takata, they have gotten most of the foundation and fundamentals!

abhishek, i think you have a great idea to concentrate on Usui 1st, and then move on to other systems. As Usui is the foundation of most of the systems! However, if you feel you need to be re-attuned to Level 1 again you may do so....Listen to your Heart

To build a mighty skyscraper, we need to first create a firm foundation!!

The 21 days is normally the approximated time of detox and self-healing! What i may do for you, instead of doing re-attunements every week, i would be glad to send Reiki to you for the 21 days period. 

What would the other moderators think/suggest!

I have to agree with Xian, to me it would not be worth re-attunement because once you are attuned you can call the energy whenever you want or need it. You are attuned for life!
I think we should send you reiki for the 21 day detox and then if you feel you are ready to proceed to level 2 etc.
As you are the one requesting the help, then the decision is yours only, but if you would like us to send reiki every day to you throughout this period then we would be happy to do that!

 I completely agree with you. This is exactly what I wanted to do and my soul is actually calling for it. I would like to tell though to make it more clear why I want to do it guess then you wonderful spiritual people would be able to guide me.
 My whole family is in reiki including my wife who is a 1st degree reiki holder and my mother in law who is a 2nd degree reiki holder.
When I took my attunement it went on really well and I felt almost everything.(It was a physical attunement). After that I went on to a 21 day rigorous cleaning cycle too where I was taking only satvik food (sorry don't know what to call it in english). I can feel reiki flowing and even if there is a block in the person whom I am giving reiki and I had been told that they even feel it and its quite effective too.
 However, After all this I was still thinking there was something missing and I started searching all over about the traditional reiki and how Dr. Usui used to give it to his students. In this process I came across a few people who were tracing the real roots of reiki and trying to find what was the original reiki and how it was taught. In this process I came across people like Frank Peterr had read his books and even contacted him via emails to clarify my doubts. There I came across this method that this was the way to do it. And somehow as I was going through this method, my heart said that "yes this is what I was searching for and this is the way to do it". In this search I came across this site as there are very few reiki sites like this one which is actually propagating reiki and its helping in true sense.
 Since, This was a heart felt thing and maybe I can say Reiki guided me to this becz whenever I used to do reiki, I used to ask reiki to show me a way of how it was taught initially and the most proper way. Since I know that in this fast food world things go real fast but my search took me here.
 Now, I seek your guidance and your blessings how to approach this method.I plan to start this Sunday the 21 day method.
Should I just start and ask for reiki from you people everyday during that 21 days to guide me to the right path. Or shall I go the traditional way still of re-attunement every weekend for three weeks.
 I can't express how happy I am to be here and seeking blessings from you wonderful people and now I seek your guidance. Pls guide me to the right way in my spiritual journey.
 I would go with your opinions as I have left myself in hands of you people only and whatever you suggest I will be doing exactly that.
