My favorite Reiki book has been Essential Reiki A Complete Guide to an Ancient Healing Art, by Diane Stein.
It is so wonderfull book for people whos native language isnt english, but who wish to know more about this energy, it´s history (to buddisht work also) and how it works in our bodies and mind. "Easy" english to read, if I put this in the other way.

The other good book for me has been The Spirit of Reiki, but not as good as the first one.

I whole-heartedly agree with you, Kaarina! When I was attuned to Reiki I, II, III & Master/Teacher, it was suggested to me to get this book, and I have found it to be very beneficial...I also have recently obtained a copy of the "Essential Reiki Teaching Manual...A Companion Guide for Reiki Healers" by Diane Stein...In fact, Cara found this copy for me @ Amazon.com, when she was looking for a copy of Essential Reiki for herself. Thank you so much for sharing what your favorite Reiki book is. I know there are so many out there and being very new to Reiki, I just don't know what to buy or read. I have added the two books you mentioned to my reading "wish" list so that I will eventually be able to order them and read them. I really appreciate your suggestions, it is very helpful for someone new like me! Blessings to you, Jean
