I doubt anyone took note of my introduction out of the many usernames, but in case anyone has read that I'm a reiki level 2 practitioner, scratch that. It turns out I'm at level 1 and a beginner pretty much. During my attunement I have felt my crown chakra and my palm chakras open up. I can feel both palm chakras open when I meditate and energy is stimulated...but during treating myself with reiki, I cannot feel my left palm chakra being active. The right palm will occassionally heat up and I will feel the energy coming through it. When I place my two palms against each other about two inches apart, again I will feel heat in the right palm but not the left. Is this something I should worry about, i.e. the attunement not complete? I am right handed btw.  |

Hello ...alphamind !
Your Reiki attunement level 1 is complete, don`t worry ! The sensations from palms are very different, they are not always the same.Palms will be more active as more you practice more Reiki. Energy flow is there, it works. Don`t worry. Just work with Reiki.
Before every energy work, don`t forget wash your hand with cold water with the intention to purify your hands chakra . Also, after energy work.
Anyway, I think all these you must know from your Reiki Master...

Also, you may rub and shake your hands quickly befor reiki session, and there's some exercises for activing palm chakras more...

Thank you for the confirmation, Sorin. My Reiki Master had attuned me (from a distance) and offered me an informative manual to study. I have read several manuals, given a treatment and treat myself daily, however I could not find any info about the left palm chakra not being active! I will look into those too, light_samurai! Thanks for the responses  xxx |

Congradulation on Reiki Level 1 attunement. After your attunement the energy is always THERE, you just need to trust in Reiki and get as much practice as you can, the energy will get stronger the more you use it. Also, your dominant hand seems to feel the energy more than your non dominant hand but they both have the Level 1 energy. As you recieve more attunements the energy gets stronger.

Indeed, don't worry, same happens for me too. Sometimes the energy feels very strong and sometimes I don't feel it at all. I feel the energy in my feet too, it tickles a lot ) |

I feel the energy in my feet too, it tickles a lot Yes, sometimes you can feel a very strong energy, but sometimes you don`t feel nothing. Depends very much of the mood you're in.
About feel the energy in the feet chakra, some Masters, during Usui Reiki attunement open the student`s feet chakra . So, you can do healings with feet chakra.
Sometimes, when my intuition say me : " DO IT " , during Usui Reiki level 2 attunement, I open the feet chakra for students.

Ah, I didn't think of using feet chakra for healing ever, just for grounding. But yes, I noticed many times that while receiving or sending energy my feet becomes very itchy even if there is no other feeling in palms or other chakras Thank you for telling me about this. |

Hello! My Reiki Master taught me that after being attuned, the Reiki energy always flows through your body by entering through your head and coming out through your hands and your feets. If you first do relaxation/meditation exercises before beginning your Reiki treatment in order to increase your perception. It will be easier for you to feel the Reiki energy entering into your body and coming out. Observe your body and be aware of your reactions: for example if you scratch you head, maybe you did not notice that something was flowing, but your body did!  I have also more sensations in the one hand more than in the other, from time to time. Just do not worry and let the energy flow! |

Oh, the size/strength of my palm chakras differs too.. you can tell by dowsing your palm chakras, which will also spin in opposite directions and usually one is dominant . I also do Pranic healing, and before doing a healing, I was taught to stick my thumb into my palm chakra. The other method I learned, when beginning, was to draw the Reiki symbols on each palm, and then clap 3 times to embed them and activate them. This proved very helpful when beginning. As time goes on, you'll just be able to "think Reiki", and your palms will activate. Best wishes and Namaste.

definitely there will be different intensity in the flow from hand chakras ie strongerintensity from ur dominent hand than weaker hand but be assured that there will be reiki energy flow when u pray reiki energy to flow thro ur hand chakras also u can provide un lock motion in ur hand chakras for easy flow of energy before drawing ur reiki symbols
