I have a dire situation for Thursday am. Seven, one of my rescues, is going into an operation for spaying in the am. Her lab work indicates her blood may not have enough oxygen.
Seven is a solid black dachshund, around 8 years of age and currently weighting approximately 40 pounds. She has brown/amber eyes with a black noise. She lives in the generally vicinity of and her surgery is taking pace in Carthage, Texas, USA.
Please send healing energy to my little Seven to aid in her ability to survive the surgery and for a speedy recovery. She is a dear little creature that had an extremely difficult life prior to coming to live with us.

Thank you, one and all! Seven made it through surgery before lunch (thank you, Karthika!) and the rest of the day has been uneventful with no news from the vet's office. I am breathing a heavy sigh of relief that this surgery is over.
Next, I must work on her heart worms. I have learned to kill them slowly by stopping their growth and re population with Ivermectin, the cattle wormer. The life-cycle of a heart-worm is 3 years and I suspect Seven's heart is pretty messed up by now, The worms must be treated to stop their growth, prevent any new ones from occurring and kill them off slowly as they age over the next 3 years. It worked for Sampson, a handsome German Shepherd . I learned the hard way with Maximilian (a beautiful black Akita-mix), what signs indicate a need to slow the treatment to prevent CHF (Congested Heart Failure).
I know Seven appreciates all the love and energy being sent to her. She sleeps with me when I am at the farm and has learned to appreciate the a/c along with life as an inside companion... smile ... she has lived a hard life, been a great mom to her pups and now it is time for her to live a life of luxury ... with everyone's help, she will survive the surgery and heart-worm therapy living a long life.

I have missed you, too! Many times I have thought of you, missed reading the postings and communicating with you. You are always filled with so very much light and energy that I feel them by reading your postings.
I have been busy with family, family, family .... Lisa fell again. Grace is not one of our strengths. lol My mother continues to have problems with the leg that had the broken ankle. and most recently, my g-father (he will be 98 the first week of September) fell approx 3 weeks ago. I have tried to help with his care but even with care-givers around, my back is giving me fits once again.
And then there is the unbearable heat. I truly worry what is going to happen to all of the creatures, livestock and wild, through this coming winter. The local paper showed some land in western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle that had cracks the size of glacier crevices with a cow looking for a blade of grass or a drop of water. I absolutely want to cry every time I think of it!
Guess I worry a lot, about everything. About every 3 weeks I am down with my back and migraines. Although I am taking allergy injections twice a week for my allergies, my sinuses are flaring because mold is high even with this horrible drought.. go figure ... maybe I take better care of others than I do myself... hmm-mm.... lol
Karthika, would you be so kind as to share some of your wonderful energy with me. I think I could really use another fix.
I feel as though I have unloaded. I hope I have not bored you too terribly much just going on so. smile! I think talking with (or communicating with) you is very therapeutic. Therefore, to take better care of myself, I must make time for these communications while I take time to catch my breath.
I value your wisdom and energy, Karthika. And just so you know, I do feel a bit selfish. Like I am not giving anything of value in return.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very happy for Seven......will pray for the sweetheart,till she recovers from her heart-worm infliction too,every single day....surely she'll be better soon.....loads of loving hugs to Seven....
Pat....i love u sooooo very much,u beautiful one and you will be in ALL my prayers and healing...not just everyday....but every time.....for ur back,migraines,sinuses....all of it....
do spare a few minutes to send healing to Mother earth and ALL on it.........u'll feel really good....u'd have done ur part,angel, and leave the rest to Almighty to do.....NOTHING happens wzout reason....ALL is but a part of the cosmic plan.....so just do what u can and be happy....the Good God takes care of everything....all part of the Karmic circle....

My Dearest Karthika and Wonderful Reiki Family!
Little Seven is doing so very well. I plan to start the heart-worm treatment this weekend. I hope to stop the further growth of any new worms and the continued growth of the current ones. With your help, I am sure she will come through this ordeal and live to be a happy, healthy old dear.
My Grand-father is feeling better. I am going to open a separate request for him and my g-mother.

Thank you, Dear Karthika. I feel much better. My back and head are much better - my sinus do not hurt, I simply cannot seem to be able to dry them up. From the info @ the allergy clinic, the weather is adversely affecting more than just me. I pray for rain and lots of it! That would probably cause flooding - so a slow steady rain would be really nice.
As for the prayers for Mother Earth, of course. I think I will light a brown candle for Gaia, a pink to send lots of love and a red for lots of energy to fuel the healing process. It is a full moon and I need to communicate with Gaia and my lovely Shorts. I have been told Shorts is experimenting with different shapes, sizes, hair lengths, colors and sexes - last i heard, she was a big purple female ... smile ... she is definitely enjoying her freedom from these earthly bonds. I look forward to our reunion with much love and yearning! I am certain she/he (which ever look that is chosen) is, @ the very least, a close constant companion in the other realm.
You right, dearest Karthika, everything happens for a reason. I must trust whatever the political outcome, the cosmic plan will prevail -
