 I read about the struggles of this poor creature and would like to appeal for healing energy for Braveheart.
As his story goes, a young dog that has come to be known as Braveheart has been valiantly fighting for his life in Madison, Wisconsin USA.
The beautiful young dog had been discovered in a public dumpster sick, malnourished and discarded like a piece of trash.
He is now being cared for by One Starfish Rehoming Connections -- a small, nonprofit rescue organization that operates by the belief that even though every dog cannot be saved, saving the life of one dog in need means something profound to that dog.
After he was taken in, his body began to fail. The neglected dog was vomiting, suffering from diarrhea and began to go into shock.
The rescue took him to UW Veterinary School in Madison where up until yesterday, he continued to fail. The defeated dog has been in the hospital for five days now he is suffering from mange, dehydration, infestation of worms, and an intestinal blockage of some sort.
Things became so critical for Braveheart that he had to have an IV inserted into his neck to give him fluids and nutrients yesterday was the first spark of hope for Braveheart. He was strong enough to eat two teaspoons of baby food and even got out of his cage for a brief moment.
He isnt out of the woods, but it is a step in the right direction.

I have a tremendous problem with people who harm our planet and the wonderful creatures that inhabit it with us. I have seen this type of horror up close and would greatly appreciate any assistance with healing energy anyone can spare for this gentle creature.

from the update online, except for saying Braveheart is continuing to improve daily, there was up dates on Braveheart's condition.
Another poor creature, Malachai, looking much like a sibling of Braveheart, with motor oil caked over the numerous skin sores and infections was found tied to the gate of the local animal shelter.
"Those that are caring for him describe him as an angel indeed. Though his skin is raw and bleeding, he happily shares gentle kisses and wags his tail grateful for any kindness that he is shown." ![]() .
The shelter has him on antibiotics and is looking for a rescue group, much like the one that took in Braveheart, to continue needed treatments.
Please keep Braveheart and Malachal in your prayers.

I fell asleep last night without posting the update on Braveheart. Since today's is even better, I will pickup from today: We get this update on Braveheart, the now internationally-famous dog rescued from a dumpster, from Dr.Daniel Foy at the UW-Veterinary Hospital:" Braveheart looks really good today. He is eating well whenever we offer him food. We've almost completed the transition off IV medications to oral. He will go through three deworming treatments He has had one and will get another in two to three weeks." I am attempting to post an updated pic (he looks so very much better). I am still looking for an update on Malachai. He was still being held at the shelter where they bathed him to remove the motor oil and put hi on antibiotics. The shelter was looking for an organization to take him in as was Braveheart. I may have to send an email or call. Please keep him in your thoughts as well...
