Oh how super sweet alpaca! She already got help and healing, but I hope I can suggest you something? Many animals are very telepathic, especially pets. You may very well know this, but I felt prompted to mention this just in case. I have very good experiences about talking pets when problems arise, even in small issues. I admit alpacas must be different from cats or dogs, but it is worthwhile of trying and putting some effort into heart-to-heart talk. I seriously believe in this simple method and myself got a tip from a psychic animal lover.
So in practice.. what about consoling her, telling that in spirit her mom and old family are there with her and she is very much loved and nurtured here and now, in her new home, that you love her very much and God's love surrounds her always... You don't have to whisper it into her ear (though you might do that too), just speak to her heart in your mind... Pets love reiki, but I would put also weight to deep love and telepathic talking.
