Dear friends,
I ask that you all please send healing energy, prayers and love to all the students, teachers and staff at the high school I teach at in Kailua, Hawaii. Yesterday, a very embarrassing thing happened for one of my students during class. By the end of the day, the whole school was talking about it and laughing about the poor boy. I hardly slept last night, because I have been feeling so sad for the boy and so disappointed at the cruelty of the other students. I am not sure if that boy will every come back to the school. I am feeling very guilty, thinking that there may have been something that I could have done to prevent the whole situation. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and there are lessons to be learned in this situation. However, the people at my school need a boost of compassion.

Dear steve
The story you posted is really sad. I hope that The boy is well and that the episode is a history by now. I am sure that every one will be Interested to get some feedback. (I sure am).
I suggest that we all keep sending healing to the Boy for some time because these kind of issues normally cover up quickly but leave a scar that effects the victims self esteem for a long term.

Aloha everyone,
For the most part, I think incident is forgotten. The student is back in school and I haven't heard about anyone bullying or teasing him. Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't happening. Our school has some bullying programs going on right now, but we are battling against a culture here in the USA where bullying is common. Most of the tv programs that the students watch, spotlight mean behavior, so we have an uphill battle in the schools. I appreciate the concern and healings sent to my school.
