GOOD FRIDAY or DARK FRIDAYIs the Friday before Easter. The day that we remember the cruel death of Jesus Christ. Jesus showed how much He loved His Father God, and us by willingly giving His life as a sacrificial Lamb.
The Friday before Easter is the most solemn day for Christians - it is the day on which Jesus Christ died on the cross. This day is known as Good Friday, Holy Friday, Great Friday or Black Friday. As such, Good Friday is a day of mourning, and all the ceremonies and rituals of the day are centered on the feeling of sorrow, at the pain and humiliation that Jesus underwent for the cause of goodness and humanity. The message of Good Friday is that the dictum of "an eye for an eye" cannot work. The way to conquer evil is through good. Similarly, violence can be overcome only by non-violence and hatred by love. And so What's So Good About It?Since Good Friday marks the execution of the Christian messiah, it seems a little odd to call it "Good." Experts believe either that the holiday was once called God Friday, which later mistakenly became known as Good Friday, or that it is considered good because Christ's sacrifice allows believers to go to heaven and live eternally. Not such a great thing for him, but good news for Christians! In other countries it is know as Long Friday, Silent Friday or Holy Friday.
Oftentimes, we fail to realize how great God's love is. We easily question His justice, when we get deprived of what we consider good things in life. Such is our attitude towards God, without realizing that He has already provided us with the best gift in life - something that we are not capable of accomplishing for ourselves. He gave us righteousness, or purification from sin, through the sacrifice of His Only Son. Why did Jesus have to be a man? The Son of God became a man to taste death for everyone, destroy the power of death, become a merciful and faithful high priest, and atone man's sins. "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone" Does sin have the power to set at naught the saving power of God? Is it possible for the power of sin to be more powerful than the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God?

The LORD God has effectively dealt with every sin that has ever been committed. The Son of God is “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”. He was not just any person dying on a cross, but the sinless Son of God who was giving Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for all who would call upon His name.
When Jesus died on the cross, all of our sins were imputed to Him. They were charged to His account, like putting money in the bank. God treated Christ as though He had actually committed those sins.
The result of the death of Christ was that all those sins have been paid for in full and God no longer holds them against us, because we have trusted Christ as our Savior. That is not all; the demands of God’s holy law have been fully met by Christ in His death once for all.
The present condition of lost sinners is not because of their sin, but because of their unbelief. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:17-18).

The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cover every person’s sin, past, present and future. However, no one is automatically saved by that death. The death becomes effective when the lost sinner calls on the name of Jesus putting his faith in Him to save and give everlasting life. The only condition is to believe on the saving work of Christ on the cross. To believe on Christ is in effect to declare that He is all-sufficient to cover all sins for all eternity. The sacrifice has been paid in full. The very same all-sufficient sacrifice of Jesus Christ that enabled God to save us is sufficient to keep us saved for all eternity.JESUS SON OF GOD.......A TRIBUTE TO THEE AND TO THY DIVINE SACRIFICE FOR MANKIND Jai Sai Ram

Our Lord came to show us what "LOVE" is and " How to love each other " and "eternity of life" Each time we think of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Let's act on "kindness and Love" to one another. Regardless on race or religion or sexual preference. We are all God's loving Children and Our lord Jesus is the living proof of that.
