23rd April, my birthday …had, had a pleasantly blessed day,although towards the afternoon, a sinking feeling had started setting in,for no explicable,logical reason..a feeling that “I” would not be around next year to ‘see” this day.Was morose,but didn’t quite share it with anyone except my best friend, who promptly shot me down,in a charcteristic way,with a lot of encouraging,kind gestures… the feeling refused to leave me….
24th April 2011,9:am- was browsing the net, checking out FB,when a friend commented in a post…Baba no more….i refused to believe this ,it just wasn’t “time”…it wasn’t “right”,as though it was I who decided when it would be time and when it would be right for Swami to shed His mortal coil…Swami ,as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, is affectionately addressed, by His devotees, the world over, had been ailing for some time now..
He had been admitted to the Sri Sathya Sai Super Specialty Hospital on the eve of 28th March 2011, because of pneumonia, water in the lungs and overall ill health,,,even before Swami decided to get admitted He had been laboring with HIS frail condition,for months..but had never complained nor shown signs of “leaving” us.
Swami has on a number of occasions displayed OBE (out of Body existence) and after being gone for sometime, would return…this would also be one of those occasions, I consoled myself…the time seemed just right to let the world know that an Avathar walked amongst us,in flesh and blood…the world media had shifted focus on this phenomenon called Sathya Sai Baba…prayer meetings were being held in every corner of the world and right from the vegetable vendor on the road to ALL organized religious communities were offering sincere hearfelt prayers for this gentle, sweet adorable spiritual head,who had done unprecedented Philanthropic service to mankind…from His globally acclaimed university one of the few to be accredited with A++,to multi crore super speciality hospitals, offering world class health care and treatments of the highest levels of sophistication, to the poorest of the poor; the only two hospitals on the face of this Earth, that do not have cash counters…temples of healing ,really; to the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project that had begun in 1994, and completed in 1996 , and has brought water to more than 700 villages in the, draught prone Indian state of Andhra Pradesh (where Prashanthi Nilayam is located).
But Sathya Sai Baba is more thanabout,schools,colleges,Univercity,hospitals,drinking water and other projects,HIS numerous miracles,of materialing Vibhooti (sacred ash),pendants,medallions,statues,rings,and on some occasions,even sarees,out of thin air! His more profound miracles were how HE was able to transform the hardest of hearts,with His gentleness and the command of the Supreme consciousness,He had.
The way He provided and still does,answers to ALL questions posed,solace to any grief presented…not just at a physical level..Swami has the ability to enter anyone’s dreams and be able to communicate meaningfully and with relevance to the dreamer’s state emotionally, mentally or spiritually
Swami was gone for longer than usual...the doctors announced formally that He had passed on…my heart would still not accept…a BIG event would happen…He WOULD get up…and this was something I wasn’t going to miss in a life time..packed our bags (Mother and daughter accompanied me)made arrangements for Pearl Nair, my feline, to be taken care of and left for Puttaparthi from Kochi,where I reside. ALL through the journey I was flooded with memories of my more than four decades of “association” with Bhagawan…tears threatened to pour..but I wasn’t going to cave in…Swami had NOT gone…He was readying the world for HIS grand “comeback”. Reached Puttaparthi on 25th Morning…dumped our bags, left Mother in my son’s safe custody and rushed off with daughter to Sai Kulwanth Hall to see my Lord and Master…the precincts teeming with khakhi clad personnel,never ever before seen media people,barely registered…ALL I wanted was to be with HIM…and plead with Him to get up..He’d had taken it too far…like I needed to go close and speak to Him…Like He didn’t know what I was going through…..

You write very well ! you know i'm writing a novel and i know importance of choosing the words... you do excellently xx /quote] what are u writing on,my angel????would love to know...It's a novel about a man who touch's his dreams but still he bleed and know that these wasn't what he want.. he lost his wife and himself... then becomes so upset and depress.. want to suicide but he tell himself that he even not deserve to die.. he continue to live in misery.. finally he run away from society and go to a village... in there he meet a wise man and become his disciple aaand finally his vision changed and he see a new old world . . . After finishing the book, I'll translate it to English and Russian  |
